KUALA LUMPUR – Victor Chin Boon Long, the man at the centre of the Corporate Mafia saga, wants the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) to explain why his residence was raided by PDRM and the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) on March 13, 2026, following various allegations of corporate manipulation linked to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).
On that day, Chin’s residence was raided as part of an ongoing investigation, during which three vehicles belonging to his company, together with other properties and valuables, were seized.
In a release, Chin emphasized that he had fully cooperated with PDRM by returning to Kuala Lumpur on Dec 29, 2025 at their request, to answer allegations related to the corporate mafia investigation made against him.
Chin said he provided a full statement to PDRM. Subsequently, he was remanded by PDRM under Bukit Aman’s Anti-Money Laundering (AMLA) Special Task Force for three days.
Following that, he was released.
“Here is my question. I have fully cooperated with the authorities. I have already given my statement to the AMLA investigators, clearly explaining my role and my position in this matter, which PDRM should be aware of.
“AMLA knows my whereabouts and has the means to get in touch with me at any time. So why is there a need to raid my house?” questions Chin.
He wonders which authority will come next, and how many more agencies will be drawn into this matter.
Chin said this has created an unhealthy environment based on baseless allegations made against him.
Chin has also appointed Krish Maniam & Co. Advocates & Solicitors as his legal counsel.
All evidence and supporting documents demonstrating that he is not involved in any of the alleged Corporate Mafia activities will be lodged with his legal counsel after March 19, 2026.
