KUALA LUMPUR – Dato’ Sri Aminul Islam Abdul Nor, a Malaysian citizen of Bangladeshi origin and the founder of Bestinet Sdn Bhd, is the real Corporate Mafia and key mastermind behind the attempted hijacking of security-based technology company NexG Bhd, says Victor Chin Boon Long.
In a statement, Chin said that he is commencing legal proceedings against Aminul over alleged widespread enforcement pressure, account freezes, and forced leadership changes via threats and exertion of pressure on companies holding substantial blocks of shares in NexG.
The writ under file no. WA-22NCvC-168-04/2026, names Aminul Islam Abdul Nor as the First Defendant.
During the siege against NexG, Chin said that Aminul abused his power and influence, and used the authorities including Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) under Bukit Aman’s Anti-Money Laundering (AMLA) Special Task Force as a tool for duress and pressure.
Aminul was originally from Bangladesh but is believed to have since obtained Malaysian citizenship.
“How he has managed to do so is up to anyone’s guess,” said Chin in the statement.
Aminul is also believed to be the owner of Bestinet Sdn Bhd, the company that enjoys a monopoly and is the operator of the Foreign Worker Centralised Management System (FWCMS), which covers all aspects of the processing of documents of foreign workers from all countries.
Various news reports have stated that Aminul is currently wanted by the authorities in Bangladesh in relation to money laundering and human trafficking charges. Aminul is understood to have denied all these allegations.
Chin said that from the chronology of events and documents he released to the public on March 24, the Corporate Mafia gang tactics began in October 2025 after NexG Bhd secured some RM2.46 billion worth of government contracts.
Aminul’s actions include:
Chin said that based on the supporting documents and chronology released, he believes there is sufficient evidence to prove that he is not part of any Corporate Mafia network.
“The allegations made against me were conscious attempts to mislead the authorities and the public to paint me as the scapegoat when I am in fact a victim as well,” said Chin.
